Clearfield County First Responders To Receive New Equipment

CLEARFIELD, Pa. —

New equipment is on the way for Clearfield County first responders.

They're called mobile data terminals, and officials said the new devices will help crews better respond to emergencies.

The new devices include mapping software to help crews determine the locations of their calls.

Crews will be able to access data on emergency calls on the road, officials said.

The devices will be installed in police cars, fire trucks and ambulances across Clearfield County.

Officials said Clearfield County is one of the only counties in the Alleghenies to use the technology.

They added that the new data terminals should arrive in the next couple months.
