By Kerri Corrado

NEW BALTIMORE, PA —

Her journey is called “Coast 2 Cast for Cancer.”

From the Rockies to the Alleganies, nothing is standing in her way . Her main goal behind this ride- is for cancer awareness.

Tracy Delp’s motto is “ Together we can, one step at a time,” and she has taken a whole lot of steps. She has traveled the west coast and now has reached the east.

“ And I hit a point where I figured where I figured I should either do it or stop thinking about it. so I said go for it. The worst you can do is fail miserably. And here I am in PA,” Tracy Delp said.

Her mother was a colon cancer survivor and when she dies, it was pancreatic. This is what gave Delp the motivation to ride.

She sad during her journey she has met cancer patients and read stories on her Facebook page.  She says they are they ones that keep her going.

“ I will hit one day that I might be really hard and then I will just think of someone I met and this is why I am doing this,” she said

She has traveled 1200 to 1300 miles so far. She has traveled in sleet, snow, and heat.

She said she wouldn’t be traveling if it wasn’t for all the people helping her along the way.
