Jennifer McKendree told police she passed out during childbirth and that the baby fell into the toilet.
The county coroner ruled that the infant had been suffocated.
Judge Gerard Long has scheduled McKendree's trial for January, but it's still not clear at this point if it will be a judge or jury hearing the case.
