Conserve Water; Leak Still A Mystery

Berlin —

A leak in the town's water system is still not found. Borough secretary, Kerry Claycomb, says they've found small leaks and fixed a majority so far. But the big one is still out there. Berlin is losing roughly $100,000 gallons of water a day because of the problem. Town officials have experts with detection equipment coming in to help. Claycomb tells Channel 6 News, "We have a gentleman that's one of the best leak detection people in Pennsylvania coming in. He'll be listening on the lines at night when there isn't as much traffic. Hopefully he'll find something then." Borough officials also checking their water system making sure it's not giving a false reading.
