Construction Alerts

ALLEGHENUES —

In Somerset County paving work will resume Monday on Rt. 31 on a 1.4 mile stretch between Plank Road and the Rt. 281 / Rt. 31 split. It's expected to last 3 days. Delays are possible.

In Clearfield County, an I-80 eastbound lane closure will begin Monday. The travel lane from mile marker 101 in Dubois through mile marker 105 will be closed for the next 5 weeks. Work will then be performed on the passing lane and that will last 3 weeks.

There is traffic alert Monday morning for the Johnsonburg Bypass – Rt. 219 construction project. There may be delays at the intersection of Harrison and Blaine Avenues and Grant Street for construction activities.

And finally in Indiana County, the Yellow Creek Bridge along SR 3035 in Homer City and Center Township will be closed beginning Tuesday. Traffic will be detoured for the next eight weeks. The closure will allow crews to continue to construct a new bridge. The overall project is expected to be completed in November.
