Construction on a new shopping center will soon be underway.
That's because Wal-Mart and the Heritage Development Company would like to begin construction on the new shopping center going up where a Johnstown mall used to stand. Zoning officer Mark Walker says a handful of new stores like TJ Maxx and Dress Barn will be coming into the center. No official date has been set for when the construction will begin.
