Jefferson County —
Jefferson and Bedford Counties were included in the list of twenty counties added to a Federal Disaster Declaration on Wednesday. Residents in those areas will be eligible for federal assistance. Senators Arlen Spector and Rick Santorum announced that President Bush signed off on the amendment. So, the total number of counties declared disaster areas has now climbed to 46.
