Coyote Hunt Sets Local Record

ST. MARYS, Pa. —

Hunters from across the state took part in the St. Marys Sportman's Club coyote hunt last weekend.

Hunters could kill the animals anywhere in the state but had to bring the coyotes to St. Marys to be weighed in.

It was the fifth annual "Size Doesn't Matter" coyote hunt.

In the first year only one coyote was killed.

This year, hunters bagged 60 coyotes.

The hunter who bagged the largest coyote received more than $300.

The remaining prize money was split between all hunters who bagged coyotes.
