Crowds Grow At Annual Thanksgiving Dinner In Geeseytown

It's an annual tradition that's now 10 years strong in Blair County.

Hundreds lined up for Thanksgiving dinner at the Geesytown fire hall Thursday morning.

Gary Deam organizes the event. He only asks for a donation to the fire department or canned foods at the door.

Area organizations and businesses chip in for the meal.

Deam said he was anticipating and hoping for more people this year.

He and his team prepared 35 turkeys, 17 hams and 80 pounds of stuffing.
