Cambria County District Attorney Dave Tulowitzki announced his candidacy Thursday afternoon at the Ebensburg courthouse. Tulowitzki has been DA for 13 years. He's prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from drugs to child abuse to murder. He is a part of numerous community organizations and has been recognized nationally for his legal work.

At a press conference Thursday afternoon, Tulowitzki said, "I'm going to run a traditional campaign. I'm going to go to church fish dinners. Anywhere there's a group of people, I'm going to try and get my message out."

Tulowitzki says he will run the courtroom like the DA's office. But during his 3-month campaign, the office and cases will remain a priority.
