RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Cambria County's District Attorney Kelli Callihan said she plans to review Pennsylvania State Police reports into a shooting incident outside the Richland Township Police Station earlier this month.

Township police said 45-year year old Kevin McGee ignored their warnings to drop his rifle after he fired shots into a township cruiser on Sept. 13. One officer then fired on McGee, wounding him. He remained hospitalized as of Thursday.

Thursday's Tribune-Democrat reported that Callihan wanted to review the state police investigation into the incident before ruling on if the use of deadly force was justified.

The newspaper reported Callihan hopes to make that ruling before McGee's upcoming court hearing.
