Bedford County —
A head on collision claimed the life of an Osterburg woman on Wednesday afternoon. Police say Misty Karns was going west on Route 30 in West Providence Township when she lost control on the wet road, crossed the center line and hit a car Richard Rhoat of Everett was driving. Karns died in the accident, and Rhoat was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police believe speed was a factor in the crash.
