The police need your help in finding a dark green,
late-model SUV, thought to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run.
Jean Louise Stellfox was hit by the truck Sunday night and
died Monday morning at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Police said Tuesday they were still looking for the driver, who witnesses said was wearing a light-colored baseball cap.
Police said Stellfox, a retired Shamokin teacher, was crossing a street when she was hit by the front passenger side of the SUV.
Witnesses said Stellfox rolled across the hood and landed on the road, while the driver kept going.
