The suit seeks $1 million. It accuses investigators of covering up for trooper Kevin Foley who will stand trial this summer on charges that he killed Yelenic two years ago.
The suit said Foley also conspired with Yelenic's estranged wife in the cover up. She was living with Foley at the time of Yelenic's death.
