Despite Losing Seasons, Pirates Raise Ticket Prices

They haven't had a winning season since before Bill Clinton was President, but the Pittsburgh Pirates announced this week they are raising ticket prices for 2011.

It should be noted, though, that the increase will only involve same-day walk-up ticket sales. All other tickets will not go up for the ninth straight year.

The Bucs set a major league mark with their 18th consecutive losing season last year and they had the worst record in baseball, winning just 57 games.
