Do Emergency Crews Have Their Hands Full At Motorcycle Festival?

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

You would think with 200,000 people making their way down to Johnstown's annual motorcycle festival there would be tons of injuries, but First Aid officials are happy to report that's not the case.

The West End Ambulance Service has been helping out at the festival since it started 11 years ago. They have a full staff covering every inch of Downtown Johnstown and they've only had to assist in minor scrapes and bruises.

West End Ambulance Manager Ira Hart said, "We've had an occassional accident, but nothing critical. Most of the fans that come into town are just looking to have a good time and most people are fairly good riders, so we've been very lucky in that respect."
