Driver Accused Of Hitting And Killing Man Cited

WJACTV.com has learned a driver of a Martin's oil truck who's accused of hitting and killing a man has been cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.

The fatal crash happened in late November at the corner of 11th Street And Pennsylvania Avenue. Investigators said the driver hit 86- year-old Paul Frye as he was crossing the street on his motorized scooter. Fry later died at the hospital.

The driver faces a summary trial Jan. 5.
