DuBois Area School Students Learn About Local Careers

Related

Clearfield County —

Students in the DuBois Area School District took part in a sort of "teacher exchange program." Students started class late while their teachers went out into the community to learn from various professionals what they do and how education plays into their job. The program, created four years ago was an idea by the district's business and industry committee. They hope to impress upon students the importance of certain job skills as well as the vast array of career opportunities that exist in the local area. This year, 180 professionals took part in the program.
