DuBois Church Holds Annual Ethnic Festival

DUBOIS, Pa. —

It's an annual tradition for people in one DuBois neighborhood.

The St. Michael Labor Day Festival centers around Polish heritage.

The neighborhood around the church is known as "Polish Hill."

Church officials said the neighborhood was founded in 1912.

The festival started around 40 years ago as a way to keep that ethnic heritage alive.

It includes lots of Polish food, games and music.

Lines for an authentic Polish meal stretched around the church.

The festival runs through Labor Day.
