DuBois Files Injunction Against Methadone Clinic

Clearfield County —

The city of DuBois has followed through on a promise to file an injunction that would halt operations at a newly-opened methadone clinic.

The motion was filed in Clearfield County Court Friday morning by the city solicitor.

RHJ Medical Center opened its doors earlier this week despite objections from the city.

The city contends the clinic's location near a public walkway violates state law.

The clinic can remain open until a judge rules on the injunction request.
