DuBois Infant May Need Heart Transplant

DUBOIS, Pa. —

Three months ago, Kaydence Connelly came home from the hospital.

Just three weeks later, her mother noticed something was wrong.

During a regular check-up, doctors noticed that Kaydence had a heart murmur.

She was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville, in November.

Doctors discovered that Kaydence's heart is enlarged, and she may need a heart transplant.

Kaydence's family has set up a trust fund, to help pay her massive medical bills.

The trust fund is at Timberland Federal Credit Union, located on Beaver Drive in DuBois.

The family is also organizing fundraisers and placing donation cans in area businesses.
