DuBois teacher charged after allegedly having sexual relationship with minor

DUBOIS, Pa. —

A Clearfield County man was arrested after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl in 2007 and 2008.

Police arrested Michael Sedor of Treasure Lake.

Authorities said he was 28 years old at the time the relationship allegedly began.

DuBois Area School District superintendent Timothy Dellucia confirmed with 6 News that Sedor was a teacher in the district.

Dellucia said he had no further comment because the matter is still under investigation.

According to the district's website, Sedor is a teacher at Wasson Elementary School in DuBois.

Sources tell 6 News he previously was a teacher at Sykesville Elementary School.

6 News was unable to get a copy of the criminal complaint.  Magisterial district judge, David Inzana told 6 News it will be public once he assures the victim's name is not in the complaint. 

Sedor has been charged with 10 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, 20 counts of statutory sexual assault, 20 counts of aggravated indecent assault and 20 counts of indecent assault.

Sedor remains at the Jefferson County jail.
