Early Morning Fire Destroys Barr Township Home

The fire broke out a little after 2 a.m. on the 100 the block of Trout Road in Barr Township. By the time crews arrived the home was fully engulfed. They battled the blaze for two hours but they weren't able to save anything.

A state fire marshal is ruling the cause of the fire undetermined.

The woman who lived in the home grew up there and had just moved back five years ago.

No one was at home at the time of the fire. The woman who lived in the home is now staying with friends.
