Ebensburg Family Discovers Cow's Head In Box

EBENSBURG, Pa. —

Ebensburg police are investigating a delivery sent to a family who lives in the borough.

Police said two men dropped off a box and when the family opened it they found a cow's head.

There was no threatening letter, but police are taking this seriously.

Chief Terry Wyland said the recipients are good people so no one is sure why it was sent to them, but it wasn't a mistake because the name and address on the box was correct.

Wyland said they're not sure what the message is but it is a form of harassment.
