Economy Hurting Lottery Sales

Since the economic downturn fewer people are willing to take a chance at winning big bucks through the lottery.

Sales have grown less than 1 percent from last year.

At Smoke City in Johnstown, store clerks have seen a slight dip in lottery sales. Store managers say people are shying away from playing the daily numbers, but sales have been constant on instant win numbers.
