Entire ATM Machine Stolen

Somerset County State Police are investigating an unusual convenience store burglary in which an entire ATM machine was stolen.

The burglary happened at the Southside Express in Summit Township sometime Tuesday night.

Police said the perpetrator smashed the glass front door, then backed a pickup truck in front of the building. The person or persons wrapped a cable or chain around an ATM machine and a phone card machine, then pulled both machines out of the store.

The truck was last seen headed south on Route 219.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at the Somerset barracks at 814-445-4104.
