Blair County —
A man who escaped from a constable's car, while handcuffed and in leg irons, is being held in the Blair County Jail on charges of escape, theft and other offenses. Larry Walk, of Altoona, was arrested Monday while hiding in the shower of a motel room. Walk managed to escape from Constable's Roy Spiers and Brenda Haas back in October, when they left him alone to arrest another person.
