PORTAGE, Pa. —
Firefighters from several departments are battling a fierce fire in Portage Borough.
The blaze on Main St. broke out around 3:15pm and spread through three buildings.
One of the buildings houses apartments, the others are believed to be vacant.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Emergency crews have shut down Main Street and are asking people to avoid the area.
