JOHNSTOWN —
If you liked the warmer weather that we've had over the past couple of weeks, you might want to read anymore, because what Im about to tell you may hurt.
Even though the temperatures lately felt like spring, we are still in winter and February looks like it will hammer that fact home. Today's storm indeed looks like it's a February premonition. Today our region had school delays and closings along with dangerous roads due to the 3 to 6 inches of snow that has already fallen; with another 1 to 3 expected by midnight. Then we are faced with freezing temperatures and wind chills at or below zero. So for those of you who like the snow this is only the beginning.
Here's some food for thought: even when we've had mild winters, March can still bring the snow and we've also had some of our record snow falls in that month. So winter is far from being over.
