Federal Government Cuts Funding For Head Start Program

The federal government has cut funding for Head Start programs. Now Head Start is in the hands of the individual states.

This raises many concerns in Pennsylvania, due to recent budget cuts, but the program is going strong in Blair County. A new $188,000 dollar facility was unveiled. State Senator Robert Jubelier visited the new building and says he's pleased with how the funding is being used.
