Feds Want Drivers Input On Fuel Information Window Stickers

Stickers Will Share Information On Fuel Economy

The government is proposing new fuel-efficiency window stickers for cars and trucks starting in 2012, and they are asking for the public's help in choosing between two options.

The first option would give a grade from an A+ to a D and lists how much drivers will probably have to pay for gas in one year.

The second sticker option would include information like city versus highway fuel economy and a yearly fuel cost. It would also include information on greenhouse gas emissions and how similar cars compare.

To see the two stickers and comment on them, visit www.epa.gov/fueleconomy/label .
