Fees Getting Cut At Raystown

RAYSTOWN, Pa. —

It is now cheaper to use Raystown Lake.

The Army Corps of Engineers will no longer ask boaters and visitors to pay day fees for the launch ramps.

The Lake will still charge fees for camping and picnic shelters.

Officials said the day use program is no longer cost effective, and they will focus on other areas to serve the public.
