Fire Guts Centre County Farm House

YARNELL, Pa. —

Fire gutted a rural farm house in Centre County Tuesday night. The blaze on Circle Road in Yarnell broke out Tuesday night just before 10. Several fire companies were called in and tried to bring more water to the scene. The flames, however, destroyed the two-story home that was over 100 years old. Investigators determined a wood stove sparked the fire, and the loss is estimated at $130,000.
