Five teens hurt in crash near Warriors Mark

By Bill Wadell

WARRIORS MARK, Pa. —

State Police in Huntingdon said five teenagers were injured in a crash on Neff Road shortly before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to troopers, the teenage driver was heading toward Route 350 when she encountered a loose Holstein cow that was standing in the middle of the rural roadway.

Police believe the girl turned the vehicle around to alert the property owner, and on the way back to the farm, lost control of the Chevrolet Cavalier.

The coupe crashed through a fence, down and embankment and the rear of the car smashed into a tree.

First responders told 6News that the roof of the car was removed so firefighters could remove an injured boy stuck in the back seat.

An officer said all five teenagers were taken to local hospitals with minor to moderate injuries and that speed was likely a factor in the crash.
