Former Prisoner's Sheriff Campaign Ends

Huntingdon County —

After looking over Mark Frailey's petition, a Huntingdon County judge has ruled that Frailey was nine names short of getting his name on the primary ballot. Frailey needed 100 signatures to run on the Republican ticket against incumbent Huntingdon County Sheriff Bill Walters.

Frailey said the process taught him a lot.

"It's a learning process. I learned a great deal and we'll maybe try again next time," said Frailey.

Of 16 names thrown out of Frailey's petition, ten were registered something other than Republican and six were not registered at all.
