Former Steelers Announcer Remembered

The former Pittsburgh Steelers announcer known for his screechy voice and for creating the Terrible Towel has died.

Myron Cope was 79.

Joe Gordon, a former Steelers executive and a longtime friend of Cope's, said the announcer died Wednesday morning at a nursing home in Mount Lebanon, a Pittsburgh suburb.
