Friends of Flight 93 is a nonprofit. Right now, it's in its beginning stages. Current organizers are still working on the vision for the group.
Both the Flight 93 Advisory Commission and the Flight 93 Task Force are boards dedicated to establishing the permanent memorial at the crash site and. The law that created groups also put in a clause that the groups would phase out after the 10th anniversary of 9-11. Friends of Flight 93 would help continue their mission and help with fundraising and help tie the community to the memorial.
