Full Time District Attorney

New state legislation says that district attorney positions will all be full time starting in 2012. Until then, DAs have the choice, part time or full time. If the full time position is chosen, with the new pay raises legislators voted themselves...that would mean an 80-thousand dollar difference. The state says it will reimburse counties for 65 percent of the new full time salary if their part time DAs chose to go full time....but Commissioner Donna Gority is worried that might not happen, and if that's the case, counties could get stuck shelling out the money.
