Grenades were found with the pins still in them, causing tense moments for some Johnstown residents Tuesday morning.
It was later determined the two grenades were actually training devices and were harmless.
The discovery was made late Monday afternoon, but officials cleared the scene within a few hours.
Johnstown police and the Allegheny County bomb squad responded and disposed of the devices.
