Ground Broken For New Cancer Center

Clearfield County —

Cancer patients who live in Clearfield will soon be able to receive treatment much closer to home. Today, officials from Clearfield Hospital and the DuBois Regional Medical Center broke ground on the Nathaniel Yingling Cancer Center. The facility will provide radiation and chemotherapy. In the past, patients had to drive a significant distance to get these types of treatment. The project's cost is pegged at just over 4-million dollars. It will be located on the Clearfield Hospital campus, on the corner of McBride Street and Doctor's Drive.
