Audiology Services Transition To Boalsburg Location

Mount Nittany Medical Center has transitioned its hospital-based audiology services to the Mount Nittany Physician Group otolaryngology practice in Boalsburg. The service will be under the direction of Mount Nittany’s James Freije, MD, MPH, FACS.

Dr. Freije is a board-certified otolaryngologist treating conditions of the ears, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck. Dr. Freiie provides both medical and surgical treatment of hearing, ear infections, balance disorders, ear noise (tinnitus), nerve pain, and facial and cranial nerve disorders.

The audiology service will continue to provide hearing aid services, infant hearing screenings, and issues of the inner ear services at the Boalsburg location. Audiologist Leslie Purcell, AuD, will join the Boalsburg practice. Mount Nittany accepts most major insurances, including Medical Assistance and Medicare. Ample parking is available for patients.
