The group was hiking on Monday night when one of them suffered a leg injury.
Due to the snow and wind, they decided to wait until morning to call for help.
The Lower Yoder Fire Department assisted in the rescue, but it wasn't an easy one. The roads leading into the mountains are snow covered, and they needed a plow and tire chains.
According to officials, the group was experienced and nobody was seriously injured.
