CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. —
A controversial proposal for an injection well site brought hundreds of people to a meeting in Clearfield County on Monday night.
Windfall Oil & Gas Inc. wants a permit to drill the injection well along Highland Street Extension in a residential section of Brady Township.
Among those who spoke at the Department of Environmental Protection's public hearing was Clearfield County commissioner John Sobel.
Sobel said the county supports energy development, but it must be done safely and not adversely impact residents' lives.
