Hundreds Attend Vigil for Blair County Shooting Victims

By Stef Davis

Hundreds coming through the doors at the Geeseytown Evangelical Lutheran Church for a vigil to remember the three victims of yesterday's shooting—a shooting that happened just miles from this very church.

Jared Taylor, says, "Just to support our loved ones who were affected by this craziness."

A craziness that took the lives of three innocent victims—58-year-old Kimberly Scott of Duncansville, 60- year-old Ken Lynn of Hollidaysburg, and 38-year-old William Rhodes Jr. of Hollidaysburg. Police say 44- year-old Jeffrey Lee Michael of Hollidaysburg shot and killed those three victims in different locations along Juniata Valley Road Friday morning.

Pastor Mike Ryhne, Geeseytown Lutheran Church, says, "There is no one that didn't know the victims or the victim's families. This is very impactful."

This tight-knit Blair County community packing the Geeseytown Lutheran Church Saturday evening. Some even waiting in line outside to get in. The media was asked to leave during the vigil itself.

Ryhne adds, "A way for the people to come together and pray with the family and let them know they are not alone."

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
