Huntingdon Co. fire official accused of stealing $24,000 from employer

HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. —

A Huntingdon County fire official has been charged with stealing $24,000 from his employer.

According to the Altoona Mirror, police have surveillance video of James Fouse Jr. stealing money from Raystown Beverage, where he worked.

Police said the alleged thefts happened between 2009 and 2011.

Fouse is accused of ringing up products, putting the customer's money in the register, but never finalizing the sale and then pocketing the money.
