Job Seekers Check Out New Cambria Co. Manufacturer

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Potential employees had a chance Tuesday to learn more about a Norwegian company that is opening a manufacturing and repair business in the Johnstown area.

Kitron is set to open up shop in the Johnstown Area Regional Industries Business Park in Richland Township by the end of the year. Officials with the company said the plan is to hire 15 workers to start, and about 50 job seekers came to check out the company and apply for the positions.

The company manufactures tests and repairs electronic products for the military and companies. Officials with Kitron announced they were opening up a Cambria County location at this year's Showcase for Commerce.
