Johnstown man accused of stealing trailer loaded with stolen telephone poles

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. —

A Johnstown man is in the Jefferson County Jail in connection with the theft of a $10,000 trailer containing stolen telephone poles.

Patrick Grove is facing numerous charges.

Brookville police arrested Grove along Route 28. Police said a New York license plate is what prompted to stop Grove with the trailer.

Police said they discovered the trailer was loaded with stolen telephone poles from Bath, N.Y.

The investigation is continuing in New York state.
