Johnstown man faces 3 years in prison for shooting man, dog

By WJAC Web Staff

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

A Johnstown man could spend more than three years in state prison for an incident last summer in which he fired shots, striking a man and his own dog.

Tuesday's Tribune-Democrat reported that 49-year old Brian Scaife will also have his license suspended for one year.

Scaife's attorney reportedly told the court that Scaife had been drinking and using drugs with his girlfriend and her brother. Scaife began firing shots when he thought the pair had stolen money from him.

The man was shot in the foot.
