Johnstown Man Wakes Up Behind Bars

A Johnstown man is facing aggravated assault and resisting arrest charges after police say he attacked a man in his Dale Borough home, and then fought with an officer who tried to arrest him. 25-year old Avrell Brandon was finally taken into custody late last night by Dale Borough Lieutenant Robert Carothers, but according to police reports, only after Brandon had jumped from a second floor roof on top of

Carothers and punched him in an attempt to get away. Brandon is also charged with simple assault for injuring the person who lived in the home. The suspect was arraigned overnight and is jailed this morning.
