Johnstown Moves Forward With Plans For Fire Training Facility

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

Johnstown fire officials said plans are moving forward for construction of a new fire training facility.

Fire Department officials said they have a $100,000 state grant and the Johnstown Redevelopment Authority has approved the building site on Iron Street.

The new facility will shorten travel time for training. Officials said they hope to start working on the facility this summer.
